UPDATE: Terre Haute Police Sgt. Ryan Adamson said a 15-year-old male has been charged with murder, attempted murder, aggravated battery, criminal recklessness, and possession of a firearm without a permit in connection with the shooting death of a 15-year-old female early Friday morning. The male was transported to the Vigo County Juvenile Center.
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Police say an overnight shooting in Terre Haute left a teenager dead.
According to Terre Haute Police PIO Ryan Adamson, the shooting happened at 13th and Poplar around 12:30 a.m. Friday morning.
Adamson says a 15-year-old girl died.
THPD Detectives have arrested a 15 year old male for murder, attempted murder, aggravated battery, criminal recklessness, and possession of a firearm without a permit. The male was transported to the Vigo County Juvenile Center.
