MARTIN COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A Loogootee business that suspected one of its employees of theft shared its suspicions with the Indiana State Police’s Jasper Post, leading to the employee’s arrest, ISP reported Thursday.
ISP Detective Jarrod Lents was told of the monetary thefts on Feb. 6. His investigation revealed that Ulrich Kinnaman, 27, of rural Daviess County, had been responsible for the thefts, going back to the fall of 2020. On Thursday, Detective Lents and Trooper Steve Nolan took Kinnaman into custody at his place of employment in Loogootee.
Kinnaman was incarcerated at the Martin County Jail on a charge of theft, a level 6 felony.
