CASEY, Ill. (WAWV/WTWO) – Crowd filled the streets of Casey Illinois April 30th to witness the one of the most historical motor bike jumps the town has ever seen.
Dirt Bike Rider Brett Cue visited Casey several times to ride a growing up, and went back a couple years ago to teach a dirt bike camp. While Cue taught the camp he mentioned to a collage at Lincoln Trail Motosports that he wanted to do an epic jump in town for his online profile.
That was when Cue was given the opportunity race his Honda 25 feet of the World’s Largest Rocking Chair.
Vurb shred tour and Lincoln Trail Motosports partnered with the dirt bike rider to jump his Honda 450 off of the towns largest tourist attractions.
Cue said the view from the chair didn’t intimidate him.
“It was pretty cool, however I couldn’t see the landing,” Cue said. “I almost had to aim for somebody, and pick out a face in the crowd or a light post each time.”
Cue estimated 3,000 people showed up for the jump.
