HILLSDALE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A semi fire briefly shut down both lanes of I-74 at mile marker 3 in Vermillion County Wednesday afternoon.
When first responders arrived at the scene, they discovered a semi with an empty aggregate trailer on fire. The semi was pulled off to the side of the westbound lane.
The driver was able to get out of the semi without injury.
Covington and Perrysville Fire were able to extinguish the fire.
