Give Back
Perhaps more than any other time of year, during the holidays we turn our attention to others less fortunate and look for ways to give back. In the listings on this page, you’ll find ways to help in your community, whether it be a donation of money or time.
300 Holiday Wishes
- Activity:
- Approximately 300 children are currently in out‐of‐home foster care in our 5 county region of Vigo, Vermillion, Clay, Sullivan and Parke counties. Foster children enter care as a result of abuse, neglect, or abandonment by their parents. Foster parents provide a safe, nurturing, stable, and temporary environment for children who can no longer remain in their own homes but, unfortunately, not all foster parents can afford gifts during the holidays.
- Details:
- When you’re out doing your holiday shopping this season, buy something from the list below for a child in need, then drop it off at one of our sponsor locations before 12/13! Please let us know which gift is being purchased by leaving a note/number on the gift. For more information, click here
