SULLIVAN, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A local youth soccer program, with ties to Indiana’s pro soccer team the Indy Eleven, is working towards building more accessibility in the sport and the Sullivan County Youth Soccer Association is now a part of that program.
The Indy Eleven Youth Soccer Program welcomed the SCYSA to the initiative that is designed to increase accessibility in soccer and encourages players, coaches, referees, and parents to extend their passion for the sport by supporting the program.
The Sullivan County Youth Soccer Association is now the 18th club to join the program and begin a partnership with Indy Eleven’s grassroots initiative, which consists of over 16,000 youth soccer players across the states of Indiana and Illinois.
“Indy Eleven is excited to welcome Sullivan County Youth Soccer Association as the latest member of its Youth Soccer Program initiative,” said Greg Stremlaw, Indy Eleven President and Chief Executive Officer. “We are looking forward to supporting Sullivan County Youth Soccer Association’s commitment to growing the game of soccer in and around its community.”
The goal of the Sullivan County Youth Soccer Association is to promote accessible youth soccer in and around Sullivan County.
