BRAZIL, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Brazil hosted their second annual Blue Santa Car Show at York Chevrolet on Saturday.
This was a chance for members of the community to come out to see and show off their vehicles. The event included many different types of automobiles, food vendors, and prizes.
This show’s purpose is to raise money for Shop with a Cop. This is a program where local cops go out and shop with underprivileged children and their families.
Bill Stearns, the event organizer, talks about how this event is one of a kind for this program.
“This is to benefit the program Shop with a Cop. A lot of the time you can have organizations and businesses donate to the cause. As far as I know, we are the only ones that have ever stepped out and decided to do something like this so that the community can give back or help pay and give money towards Shop with a Cop.”
