TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Salvation Army in Terre Haute is providing assistance to those still in need during the power outage.
From Monday through Wednesday, the Salvation Army is offering a cooling and charging center for those in need while also giving out first-come, first-served emergency food bags.
The case manager for the Pathway of Hope program, Rhonda Harden said their mission is all about caring for the community.
“Anyone’s welcome to come in and cool down, charge their devices, or even if they have a portable oxygen tank they need to charge we can do that as well,” said Harden.
Again, the center will be open today, through July 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at the Salvation Army located at 234 South 8th Street in Terre Haute.
