BRAZIL, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Update: Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect in the shooting incident Thursday night in Brazil.
Brazil Police Chief Clint McQueen said officers patrolled the area of the 800 block of E. Hendrix St. throughout the night and were unable to locate a possible suspect. Chief McQueen said the way the incident went, he doesn’t believe the public is in any added danger. Saying this was an incident between a pedestrian and motorist, with an angry verbal exchange that quickly led to gunshots.

The gunshot victim in the incident was taken to the hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. Law enforcement was called at approximately 10:45 p.m.,
