A popular flower store celebrated the grand opening of its second location.
Maggie and Moe’s Poplar Flower Shop and Decor is open to the public at its new location at the Sycamore House on South 18th street.
The location will feature several floral options as well as a new food and beverage menu. The new space is meant for the community to enjoy coffee or smoothies while utilizing a workspace. Visitors will have the opportunity to get together as well as host meetings.
Owner Molly Barrett said the store was close to selling out of their product after its soft opening.
“It’s very exciting and nerve-racking at the same time,” said Barrett. “This location is busier than the hospital.”
Maggie and Moe’s Poplar Flower Shop and Decor is in the process of training their new staff. Barrett asks that the community be patient with them.
