TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — You can help support a local middle school by enjoying a delicious meal later this week.
Sarah Scott Middle School will be hosting a fish fry this Friday running from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The fry will include fish, pulled pork, a variety of sides and desserts.
The event will also feature a silent auction and a raffle.
All of this is an effort to raise money for Sarah Scott Programs like the Scottie Store, a food pantry, student groups, field trips, and even assemblies held throughout the year.
“We haven’t had a fish fry since 2019 because of the pandemic,” said 8th grader Gavin Wallace. “We’re just excited to bring the community together.”
“It’s going to be a very fun and lively event,” said 8th grader Sawyer Hamm. “There’s going to be a lot of food and baked goods, and many activities.”
Both dine-in and carry-out orders will be available.
