TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Law enforcement plans to have extra patrols out during potential winter storms this week.
Vigo County Sheriff John Plasse said that more Sheriff’s Deputies could be on the roadways if weather becomes severe. Plasse stated that he will be monitoring the weather situations as it unfolds.
Plasse urged drivers to stay home and stay off the roadways if winter weather does become severe.
“Well, the bad thing with ice is that you don’t see that,” Plasse explained. “So if you don’t have to travel, please don’t.”
