TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Students from the University of Zagreb visited Indiana State University Wednesday afternoon to attend a presentation about criminology education.
A speaker from ISU gave a PowerPoint presentation about criminology issues to 21 Zagreb students. The students will be staying in Terre Haute for two weeks.
Students were able to learn about different criminal laws in the US. The event’s organizer, Lisa Decker, said their study abroad program can have significant impacts on students.
“It certainly has a lot of impact on the way they think about criminology and the way they think about people around the world,” Decker said. “I love being apart of it because it can be so meaningful.”
