TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — In honor of Flag Day Monday, area businesses were recognized for their dedication to the American Flag.
The Son’s of the American Revolution awarded Culver’s and Dorsett Automotive with certificates. Each year, the group interviews local businesses about their commitment to the American Flag and why they choose to fly it.
“That’s what we look for when we hear those types of answers: ‘This is what we’ve always wanted to do because we’re proud of our country; we’re proud of our flag,'” William Behnke, Indiana Society Sons of the American Revolution State Secretary, said. “We give this certificate to them.”
