MONTEZUMA, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Two people are facing drug-related charges after a traffic stop in Parke County Monday.
According to Parke County Sheriff Justin Cole, around 10:46 p.m. Monday deputies pulled over a vehicle near the intersection of Old IN-63 and US Hwy 36.
During the stop, it was discovered that the passenger in the vehicle, William Baugh, was in possession of a glass smoking pipe.
Further investigation determined that Baugh and the driver, Carolyn Stonebraker, were in possession of approximately 79 grams of suspected methamphetamine, along with approximately 4 grams of suspected marijuana and various paraphernalia. The two also had a large amount of money in their possession.
Aside from possession and dealing charges, Stonebraker was charged with maintaining a common nuisance and Baugh was charged with visiting a common nuisance.
Both Stonebraker and Baugh were booked into the Parke County jail with a $75,000 bond and no 10% allowance.
