TERRE HAUTE, Ind., (WTWO/WAWV) — Ivy Tech Terre Haute hosted their 5th annual Fun Run 5K to raise money for the campus.
The event aims to promote health and wellness.
It included a one mile run for families and children, in addition to the standard 5K.
Rachel Mullinnix, executive director of the Ivy Tech Terre Haute Foundation, said the community’s support is critical to the campus’ success.
“This is a day where we get to have all of the community come to our campus, celebrate what’s going on at ivy tech, supporting our students, all while having fun,” she said.
The campus has raised over $30,000 since the race’s inception and has garnered nearly 150 participants.
