YOKOHAMA, JAPAN (WTWO/WAWV) – A Vincences couple is currently quarantined aboard a ship in Japan.
Jim and Linda Levell are on the Princess Diamond.
The cruise ship is currently docked in Yokohama, Japan. it’s been quarantined for two weeks.
That happened after dozens of passengers tested positive for the virus.
Linda Levell talked with us about the situation they are facing.
“The really scary part of it is that ever day every minute of the day you are thinking about that you might contract the virus and what would happen if you do. Just tell them we appreciate all the love and support they have given us , it’s just been overwhelming and we can’t wait to get home,” Linda said.
Our conversation with Linda was interrupted by a message from the captain.
Those messages are done as attempt to update the passengers about the situation.
Linda and her husband have been told that they should be able to leave the ship on February 19th.
They say the situation is both frustrating and scary.
