PARKE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Parke County Sheriff’s Office announced an arrest has been made in connection to recent car break-ins.
A debit card stolen in one of the break-ins was used at a gas station where authorities were able to gather security footage, leading authorities to 28-year-old Dustin Beaty of Montezuma.
Beaty was arrested late Monday night during a traffic stop. According to authorities, Beaty later admitted to the thefts. He faces multiple charges including theft, unlawful entry of a motor vehicle, possession of paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and criminal trespass.
