Vigo County Soil and Water Conservation District Officials not concerned with rising Wabash River

The Wabash River has risen to nearly 19 ft. high due to heavy rain, but local officials are not concerned about flooding, though people should be aware of possible flooding to hit roadways near the river bottoms and should not go on the river due to the dangerous speed of the current.
