ROCKVILLE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A local theater will be showing Christmas movies for free!
The Ritz theater in Rockville is hosting the Christmas Film Festival every Thursday, for the month of December. Starting December 14, with the classic 1954, “White Christmas”. Then on December 21, showing “The Polar Express”. The film festival will conclude on December 28, with “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”, the Jim Carrey version.
All showings start at 7 p.m. with doors opening an hour prior, except for The Polar Express. On that date doors will open at 5:30 p.m. for free hot cocoa and pictures with Santa.
“We couldn’t do this without the community’s support and you know without our community we wouldn’t be here. Going on 112 years of constant operation and the community’s support is vital to that,” General Manager David Crowder said.
Ritz will also be showing the new Wonka movie December 15. Tickets are on sale now on their website.
