TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Local residents joined WTWO’s Dana Winklepleck on the road for a trip to the symphony in Indianapolis on Friday.
The event was a partnership between WTWO and Turner Coaches.
The day included a meal at Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Indianapolis before enjoying a “Yuletide Celebration” by the Indianapolis Symphony at Hilbert Circle Theater.
Annette Trotter is the director of marketing for Turner Coaches in Terre Haute. When planning trips like these, she said they look for unique events that people can enjoy with others.
“Well, you know, everyone needs a chance to get away and enjoy the fellowship of other people and not just be by themselves all the time and our day trips are just a wonderful time for people to step away from the daily life,” Trotter said.
Trotter added that its always exciting to meet so many new people when traveling together.
