TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Trick or treaters lined up Monday evening, outside the Vigo County Annex building for CASA’s sixth annual “Trunk or Treat”.
The theme this year is “Your Favorite Halloween Boo” and all trunks were decorated in the theme of their favorite Halloween character. The Vigo County CASA program hosted the event and several other organizations joined CASA to help pass out candy, popcorn and hot dogs.
Director Glenna Cheeseman said it’s all about benefitting the kids.
“It’s an opportunity for kids to just come in a safe environment and just be a kid. And the adults get to be a kid too and they get to see a positive environment, everybody just having a great time,” Cheeseman said.
This event has over 3,000 participants every year.
