SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Former Indiana State Senator John Waterman is also seeking to fill the District 38 seat.
Waterman was the Indiana state senator for District 39 From 1994 to 2014, and before that, he previously served as the Sullivan County Sheriff.
Waterman is currently a Sullivan County commissioner. WTWO reached out to Waterman and will have more details on his decision to seek the state senate seat as the situation develops.
The caucus is on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Northview High School’s auditorium in Brazil.
