SULLIVAN COUNTY, Indiana (WTWO) — A Rosedale man was arrested Friday following an incident last week at a Farmersburg establishment where he’s accused of threatening patrons, firing a gun, and hitting a person.
The suspect, 28-year-old Phillip A. Foster of Rosedale, is facing a slew of charges. Those include aggravated battery, criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon, and intimidation to commit a forcible felony with a deadly weapon.
Indiana State Police said the incident happened Saturday morning, Sept. 23, at a local establishment in Farmersburg, IN. According to police, Foster pointed a firearm at patrons, fired shots, and committed battery against a patron.
Although officers were unable to arrest him at the time of the incident, detectives with the Putnamville State Police Post began an investigation and put out an active warrant for Foster.
About a week later, a U.S. Marshal Task Force located Foster and arrested him without incident.
