OLNEY, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) — Team of Mercy, a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting those who have been impacted by suicide, is hosting a 5K run/walk fundraising event.
The Surviving the Color Run/Walk will take place on September 16th starting at 7:00 a.m. at Olney City Park.
Team of Mercy works to provide several services for those in need such as counseling and/or therapy, grief support, support groups, suicide awareness programs, some funeral expenses, and other needs as they may come up.
There are a variety of sponsorship options for those interested in the event can choose from ranging from $100 to $500 and even a partner sponsorship option at $1,500.
