SPENCER, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – In celebration of 100 years of servicing Indiana State Parks and their patrons, Indiana State interpretive naturalists will be having a reunion at McCormick’s Creek State Park.
An interpretive naturalist helps to guide and link park guests to the services, cultures, and nature located throughout Indiana State Park properties. To recognize the century of important work done by the interpretive naturalists and to celebrate this milestone, the reunion will take place on Sunday, August 27 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at McCormick’s Creek State Park.
All Indiana State Park interpretive naturalists, whether currently or formerly employed are invited along with one guest each. This includes full-time, part-time, and seasonal workers.
Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP by contacting Amanda Anez by August 20. McCormick’s Creek State Park’s Canyon Inn has reserved a block of rooms for the event, any registrant who would like to stay at the inn should request the required group code to reserve a room from the block when emailing their RSVP.
