SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Update: Sullivan Co. Sheriff Clark Cottom confirmed just before 8:00 pm Wednesday that Henschen has been taken into custody.
Original: The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to help locate a man wanted on felony warrants in both Indiana and Illinois.
According to Sullivan County Sheriff Clark Cottom, Jacob Henschen, 27, was last seen around the Shiloh Reservoir area near County Road 750 E. and County Road 975 N.
Cottom said Henschen ran from local officers earlier this week, but is believed to still be in the area.
Henschen is facing charges of burglary, violation of a court order, possession of dangerous drugs and resisting arrest.
According to a witness report, Henschen is possibly wearing a camouflage coat and a black backpack.
If you see Henschen, do not approach him, but call 911 immediately.
