PARKE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A Rockville man was taken to a hospital in Clinton after a rollover crash in Parke County Tuesday.
According to Parke County Sheriff Justin Cole, the crash occurred at approximately 3:04 p.m. on US 41 north of Lyford near the intersection with County Road 610 S. The Sheriff said that a 2006 Ford Mustang was traveling northbound on US 41 when the vehicle drove off the roadway.
The Mustang began to roll over, reportedly rolling several times before coming to a rest against a utility pole.
The driver, a 53-year-old Rockville man, was taken to Union Hospital in Clinton. Sheriff Cole said the injuries were not life-threatening. Drugs and alcohol are not suspected to be a factor in the crash, Cole said a possible medical issue was the cause.
Mecca and Lyford Fire Departments assisted at the scene.
