Preparations are underway for the Sullivan Corn Festival
The event is organized yearly by the Sullivan Rotary Club and starts Wednesday and will continue through Saturday at the Central Plaza and around the courthouse square in Sullivan.
Visitors will find carnival rides and live entertainment as well as delicious food.
Each night features a different tribute band performing live. Those tribute bands include a Journey tribute as well as Michael Jackson.
The Corn Festival Parade will be held Saturday starting at 1 p.m. with the free corn on the cob to follow.
“The weather is going to be great,” said Rotary Club President Steve Simmons. “Been looking forward for a whole year to the festival. A great time for class reunions, family get togethers. It’s just going to be a great week.”
