TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Jobseekers had the opportunity to meet a wide variety of local employers today.
WTWO hosted a career fair and job expo at the Terre Haute Convention Center. Presented by First Financial Bank, the event featured dozens of local companies and organizations looking to fill open positions.
The event also featured the Indiana Small Business Development Center, which hosted informational sessions about starting your own business.
“We just feel it’s our part to help out,” said WTWO General Manager Tim Sanders. “We know that a lot of people are needing jobs and a lot of places are hiring so we thought we’re going to do our part in the Wabash Valley and help out, help people find their career and then just help out the local businesses because we know that they need help finding people as well.”
