FARMERSBURG, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Folks looking for a bouquet of beautiful flowers and to help out a good cause can do so as part of The Hospice of the Wabash Valley’s 35th annual Tulip Bouquet fundraiser.
The event sells bouquets of tulips at a cost of $10 apiece and coincides with Administrative Professionals Day. This year’s bouquets will be provided by Maggie and Moe’s. Proceeds will benefit the Hospice of the Wabash Valley.
“For 35 years we’ve just done tulips as kind of a sign of life and so we have had great success with selling tulips,” Shelby Watson, a media and HR representative for Hospice of the Wabash Valley, said. “Without the help of our volunteers, the community, and these purchasing locations, our tulip fundraiser wouldn’t be possible.”
Tulip Bouquets will be available to purchase on April 27 from the following locations:
- Baesler’s Market in Terre Haute 6 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- VNA and Hospice 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
