TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Update: Terre Haute Police have released their crash report with details regarding the three-vehicle crash that temporarily shut down a portion of Wabash Avenue in Terre Haute and resulted in one victim being flown to a hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
According to the report, the crash occurred when a driver of a Ford Ranger that was heading westbound on Wabash Avenue near Keane Lane drifted left of center, striking a Ford pick-up truck in the rear driver’s side. The Ranger continued on to strike a third vehicle in a Chevrolet Silverado in the front driver side.
The driver of the Ranger was unable to give police a statement due to her injuries and was taken to Regional Hospital before being flown to Indianapolis due to the severity of those injuries. Police report that the hospital described the injuries as life-threatening.
The driver of the Silverado was also taken to Union Hospital due to complaints of neck pain.

A three-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon near Highland Lawn Cemetery in Terre Haute, Ind. is causing traffic delays in the area.
According to Terre Haute Police, a collision involving three vehicles occurred in the area Wednesday afternoon. Police also said that one person involved in the crash suffered serious injuries and was flown to a hospital.
According to THPD, Wabash Avenue is currently shut down from SR 46 to Fruitridge Avenue. As police work the area, traffic delays and lane blockage occurred on US-40 and surrounding areas near Highland Lawn Cemetery, Vigo County Dispatch said.
