The Terre Haute Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing person.
According to a THPD Facebook post, the department received a report on Jan. 19 of a missing person named Lauren Bentley, a 33-year-old white female. Bentley, according to police, was last heard from on Jan. 2 in a text message to her mom.
Bentley has not been seen since that time and is not answering text or voice calls, police said. She does not operate a vehicle and is not currently employed.
The photos released by police, which can be found above, are from approximately five years ago, but are very similar to how Bentley looks now. Anyone with knowledge of her location is asked to contact Det. Kenny Murphy at (812) 244-2234.
To provide information on Bentley after business hours, call the THPD Desk Officer at (812) 238-1661 so officers can “check on her and verify that she is okay”.
