TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — One person was found dead by police Tuesday in a car partially submerged in the Wabash River.
Officers with the Terre Haute Police Department responded Tuesday morning to a vehicle halfway submerged on the boat ramp at Fairbanks Park, according to a Facebook post. The officers investigated further and found the driver of the vehicle was dead in an apparent suicide, the post said.
Indiana Conservation Officers, Sugar Creek Fire Department and Terre Haute Fire Department assisted with the investigation.
