CLINTON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Clinton City Police reported Thursday that one person is in jail after allegedly running over another man’s arm with a truck.
It happened Wednesday evening around 8:30 pm. Officers were called to a home on Pike Street in Clinton about a stolen vehicle. When police arrived, the victim told them that he and the suspect got into a verbal argument over the ownership of the truck.
The suspect allegedly took the truck and attempted to drive away, knocking the victim down, and running over his arm in the process.
Police said the suspect drove to the Clinton City Police Department, where he was identified as Jeffery J. Tubb, 42, of Terre Haute.
Tubb was taken into custody and charged with aggravated battery. He is currently being held on a $50,000 bond with 10% allowed.
