CLOVERDALE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Two Cloverdale residents were arrested for stealing more than $20,000 from the Cloverdale Community Youth League where they both served as board leaders, according to Indiana State Police.
An investigation began in July into Stephen D. Caulkins, 41, who was serving as the organization’s president, and Amber D. Caulkins, 37, who was serving as treasurer. It is alleged that they “were not depositing funds into the bank accounts, in order to benefit in self-gain.”
They are both scheduled to appear in court Oct. 27.
