TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — During National HIV Testing Day on June 28, PACE Community Action Agency’s Health Connection Clinic will offer free HIV testing.
The clinic, located at 501 E. Hospital Lane in Terre Haute, recently joined the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce to help get the word out about its important service to the community. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Wednesday in the clinic’s honor.
According to the PACE website, Health Connection offers a variety of confidential, voluntary services such as comprehensive family planning services, breast and cervical screenings and pregnancy testing.
“These services are very, very important to be offered to the community, and we offer on a sliding fee scale as well,” marketing specialist Peyton Jones said. “So regardless of who comes in for our services, it’s going to be affordable for them.”
