SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Two people charged in connection to a Sullivan County murder have entered guilty pleas in the case.
According to the Sullivan County Prosecutor’s Office, Danny Wilson, Jr. has pleaded guilty to a charge of murder and Renee Huffines has pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit murder.
The charges stem from the death of Patricia Dorsett.
Huffines and Wilson were staying with Dorsett in her Sullivan County home in May of 2019. Dorsett was later reported missing by family and friends. Her body was found in the back of a trailer on her property.
An autopsy confirmed Dorsett died of a gunshot wound to the head.
Wilson and Huffines both have sentencing hearings scheduled for May 21.
