PARKE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — One person was arrested early Sunday morning after stolen property was found on a private campground in Parke County.
David Joseph, 46, of New Richmond, was charged with possession of stolen property after deputies responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle at the campground on State Road 47. Deputies determined the trailer located at the scene was recently stolen in Putnam County.
Works at the campgrounds later located another trailer in a ravine. The trailer, along with a small steam roller, were found to have been stolen from a business north of Rockville.
The two stolen trailers and the steam roller have been returned to their owners.
