TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)– Griffin Bike Park hosted their 2020 Dual Slalom bike race.
Around 50 people participated in the park’s second race of the year, after being delayed due to rain.
Riders went through a series of qualifying races before moving on to the finals.
Rich Moore, the park’s manager, said he’s excited to riders back on the track.
“It gets people out and gives them a reason to get out and get on a bicycle and exercise and stay healthy so they don’t get sick. It gives us some kind of community even though we have to stay away from each other. We can socially distance and still talk to one another. It’s just chance to get out and have fun.”
The next race will take place on September 13.
