VIGO Co., Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Vigo County School Corporation said a student at Hoosier Prairie Elementary has tested positive for COVID-19.
According to school officials, the student was on school grounds during their infection period and is part of the “A” cohort.
The school corporation is working closely with the Vigo County Health Department to help identify any close contacts.
Students and staff have been notified, and will only need to quarantine if contacted by the Vigo County Health Department.
