TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Monday marks the 75th anniversary of the Liberation of Auschwitz, it also marks the first Eva Kor Education Day in Indiana.
Kor, a Auschwitz survivor, founded CANDLES Holocaust Museum in Terre Haute. She died in July.
Monday night, CANDLES Museum will commemorate the 75th anniversary with a special live-stream event of Congresswoman Elizabeth Holtzman speaking at a special ceremony taking place at the Memorial site. Doors will open at 6 p.m.
