Sheila Power, a now former Aramark or food services employee, was arrested on October 8th after the Indiana Department of Correction (IDOC) investigated a relationship between Powers and an inmate.
She has been charged with Official Misconduct, a level 6 felony, and Sexual Misconduct by a Service Provider, a level 5 felony.
IDOC Internal Affairs Lead Investigator James Smith said they have a “zero tolerance policy on this type of misconduct by any employees or contract employees providing services to our facilities.”
