The partial collapse occurred at Jerry’s Body Shop at 22 E. Washington Monday evening. This was the second partial collapse at the location. In October 2018, the building’s facade at 20 E. Washington collapsed.
Earlier this year, the City officially condemned the building. The timeline of the demolition will be dependent on the contractors, according to the City’s Facebook page.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
