JASPER, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Indiana State Police from the Jasper post used a K-9 to find a wanted man in a crawl space.
Troopers arrested 45-year-old Mark Modin, who was wanted on several warrants.
When they went to his residence in Richland City, he wasn’t immediately located. Troopers became suspicious when they found a hidden door leading to a crawl space.
Once the K-9 arrived at the residence, troopers were able to find Modin in the crawl space beneath the house.
He was arrested on various charges including leaving the scene of a serious accident and possession of methamphetamine.
He was taken to the Spencer County Jail.
