Lady Gaga was forced to cancel her Wednesday night concert in Seattle, Washington, as well as an upcoming performance in Vancouver, British Columbia, on Friday, due to a severe case of bronchitis.
On Wednesday, the 28-year-old pop diva tweeted a picture of Ursula, the Sea Witch, the character from Disney's The Little Mermaid who steals Ariel's voice. It was captioned, "I'm devastated I'm unable to perform this week. Ursula took my mermaid voice I've come down with horrible Bronchitis."
Gaga followed that up a few minutes later with the message , "My deepest apologies to Seattle and Vancouver, we'll reschedule those shows & be back to make it up to you." #sadgaga."
A statement on her official website advises fans to "retain their tickets to these events as they will be valid for the rescheduled performances in each city." Details about the rescheduled show dates will be announced at a later date.
So far, those are the only concert dates that have been canceled. Her next scheduled performance is a June 2 concert in San Diego.
