A Terre Haute man is found not guilty of impersonating a public servant. A jury did find 49 year old John D. Shahadey, guilty of misdemeanor battery. The incident happened back on May 2, 2012.
Shahadey allegedly claimed to be a police officer and attacked two people at the CVS pharmacy in the 900 block of Poplar Street. Shahadey was sentenced to 180-day suspended and eight days credit for time already served in jail in the case.
He is now on formal probation.
