Report: Miley Cyrus Denies Jennifer Lawrence Puke Story Happened

Was Jennifer Lawrence lying when she claimed on Late Night with Seth Meyers that Miley Cyrus judged her after she threw up at an Oscar after-party?  According to Miley, she is...maybe.

Earlier this week, Jennifer appeared on Late Night and told a hilarious story about how her best friend encouraged her to drink the night of the Academy Awards.  Then, when she showed up to an after-party hosted by Madonna and her manager, Guy Oseary , at his house, J-Law claimed, she vomited on his porch.  "I was in such bad condition, and I look behind me while I’m puking, and Miley Cyrus is there, like, ‘Get it together,’” Jennifer told Meyers, to much laughter.

But Miley apparently called J-Law out on Twitter, claiming the story was a fabrication...but then deleted the tweet.  The New York Post has posted a screen capture of the exchange between Miley and a fan who uses the Twitter handle @OurFemaleRebel.  When that fan tweeted a story about Jennifer's comments to Miley, she responded, "That never happened."  Now, however, that tweet has disappeared from Miley's feed -- if it ever truly existed.

Other Twitter users and media outlets have also posted the screen capture, but it's not clear if it was fabricated or not.

Jennifer's sarcastic tone of voice when she delivered the line about Miley could indicate that she was simply throwing out the name of a celebrity who's known for partying, and using it to joke about how out-of-it she was.  It would be similar to telling someone, "I was so wasted at that party that even Charlie Sheen was saying, 'Get it together!'"
