A groundbreaking ceremony was held Wednesday at Olney Community College at the future site of the school’s new $1.1 million Collision Repair Technology Building.
Soon there will be more new technicians that will know how to fix that banged up fender.
The Collision Repair Program currently has a facility but it is limited by space.
The grant money for the facility comes as a part of Illinois Governor Pat Quinn’s “Illinois Jobs Now” program.
It is hoped that students that graduate from the program will be able to find jobs in Illinois.
The new building is set to open in December.
