In light of today’s economic situation, schools are looking everywhere they can to keep the books balanced.
One way is for smaller schools to co-op their athletic programs.
Oakland and Kansas have been doing it for and while and were joined by Shiloh this year for football, baseball, softball, and track.
Monday night Shiloh’s school board voted to join the Tri-County Co-op with Kansas and Oakland in all other sports as well.
Oakland’s board will vote on the issue tonight while Kansas’s board will meet Thursday.
